A Case Report of the Repair of Coarctation of the Aorta (CoA) by Stenting in an Infant with Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) Due to Placement of a Large Amplatzer During Ductus Arteriosus

Introduction: Diagnosis and treatment of ventricular septal defect (VSD) during infancy is great importance in improving the infant’s health. Patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) coarctation aorta are most common disorders associated with VSD. needs to be closed using surgical or non-surgical procedures. This article aims present a case repairing by stenting an infant VSD due placement large Amplatzer closure. Case Presentation: The patient was one-and-a-half-year-old girl Down syndrome congenital heart disease. In initial examination, second loud sound systolic ejection murmur could heard at left sternal border. results previous echocardiography showed presence VSD, PDA, aorta. She underwent angioplasty few months ago, since had not been repaired balloon aortoplasty amplatzer. Therefore, surgeon repair because uncorrected pulmonary hypertension. Hence, we decided stenting. After two weeks medication treatment, angiography, formula stent done for patient.
